The 2026 Acura RDX Overview

The 2026 Acura RDX comes in five trims, each featuring a 2.0-liter VTEC® Turbo four-cylinder engine rated at 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission and the Acura brand’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ system (SH-AWD®), which significantly boosts handling and traction. This new Acura SUV’s performance is further enhanced and personalized through the Integrated Dynamics System™, which includes four unique driving modes: Comfort, Normal, Snow, and Sport.

The maximum towing capacity of the 2026 Acura RDX is 1,500 lbs when equipped with the available trailer hitch and hitch ball. Meanwhile, this compact SUV’s cargo capacity is enormous for its class: 79.8 cubic feet when the 60/40-split rear seats are folded down. Plus, you’ll have an innovative underfloor storage area for added versatility.

The 2026 Acura RDX integrates the latest infotainment amenities. All trims feature a 10.2-inch full HD center touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ and, for most trims, a navigation system. The Acura brand’s True Touchpad Interface™ makes these features are easy to engage with. On the audio side, three sound systems are available: nine speakers for the base Acura RDX, 12 speakers for the Acura RDX Technology, and for all other trims, a 16-speaker ELS STUDIO® premium sound system.

The 2026 Acura RDX further proves its mettle with its next-gen driver assistance features.
